- ➤ The Arboretum at Penn State hosted Winter’s Glow on Saturday, Dec. 13, featuring light displays, live music by Bells of Grace + Big Red and Zoe Makenna, and hands-on craft activities at the Palmer Museum of Art. The displays will run nightly through Jan. 18. StateCollege.com

- ➤ Penn State engineering students showcased their capstone and cornerstone design projects at Bryce Jordan Center on Thursday — the event featured 15 weeks of hands-on work, and a virtual component remains open through Friday, Dec. 19 for public viewing. StateCollege.com
- ➤ Tracy Hoover retires as associate dean at Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences effective Jan. 16, 2026 after a 40-year career in ag education. She plans to spend time with her grandchildren and on hobbies while continuing to support the college at the upcoming Pennsylvania Farm Show. Penn State

- ➤ No. 1 Penn State wrestling defeated No. 18 Wyoming 40-7 Saturday night, recording 20 takedowns to mark their 75th dual meet win. The team will face North Dakota State on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 5 p.m. in Nashville-Tennessee and is one win away from tying the record at 76 wins. Onward State
- ➤ After nearly upsetting Michigan State on Saturday at Bryce Jordan Center, Penn State's men's basketball impressed Michigan State coach Tom Izzo, who said the team will grow stronger if Coach Rhoades holds the players together + builds strong teamwork. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Three-star safety Bryson Williams committed to Penn State football on Saturday after Iowa State released him on Dec. 9. The Omaha native joins head coach Matt Campbell’s 2026 recruiting class in Happy Valley (ranked No. 6 in the state and No. 81 safety, per composite rankings). Onward State
- ➤ Trinity girls basketball won 71-39 on Saturday over Lebanon as four players (Kensie Fox, Belha Jones, Emma Kostelac-Lauer, Aryana McCleary) each scored in double digits. The win improved Trinity to 4-0, while Lebanon dropped to a 2-4 record. PennLive
- ➤ Penn State men's basketball lost 76-72 to No. 9 Michigan State at Bryce Jordan Center Saturday, Dec. 13 after a tight contest with six lead changes. The team will face rival Pitt at the GIANT Center on Sunday, Dec. 21. Daily Collegian
