- ➤ On October 29th, 2025, costumed community members marched along South Fraser Street in State College as Centre Region Parks and Recreation hosted its 77th annual Halloween Costume Parade at 7 p.m.—the parade concluded at Memorial Field where judges awarded prizes in five categories and participants received candy and cash prizes from the State College Lions Foundation. - ➤ A Domino's at 540 Westerly Parkway in State College will offer a free large one-topping pizza to SNAP recipients starting Saturday, Nov. 1st while federal benefits are not available — Giant Eagle will also double the value of pennies exchanged at its stores between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day.
