- ➤ The Toddler Learning Centre session at 9:15 a.m. on October 6 in the Downsbrough Community Room will bring 15 families with children ages 18 to 36 months together for play, expert learning from a Strawberry Fields specialist, clean-up practice, a snack of Cheerios and water, and a short storytime—registration for the fall session begins on September 2 at 9 a.m. Downtown State College

- ➤ LaVar Arrington, a former Penn State linebacker, spoke at an event in downtown Champs during Venmo’s Town Hall takeover where he discussed the role of NIL deals and the importance of upholding the school’s academic traditions.
