- ➤ At Beaver Stadium (Sept. 27), Oregon's running back Jordon Davison scored a touchdown that sparked fans chanting 'fire Franklin' during Penn State's White Out game. The Nittany Lions rallied to force overtime but lost 30-24 and players said they still support coach Franklin despite rising criticism. Daily Collegian
- ➤ On Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, Penn State lost 30-24 to Oregon in double overtime at Beaver Stadium after trying to come back from a two-touchdown deficit but turning the ball over late in the game. The loss dropped their record against AP top 25 teams to 4-21 and they will face UCLA next weekend on CBS at 3:30 p.m. StateCollege.com
