- ➤ One person died in an ATV rollover crash Sunday afternoon in Snow Shoe Township on the 400 block of Kato Road—responders performed life-saving measures for 45 minutes until Mount Nittany Health EMS pronounced the patient dead—according to the Snow Shoe Fire Company. StateCollege.com

- ➤ Centre County Judge Jonathan Grine vacated Subu Vedam's 1980 murder conviction—saying prosecutors withheld evidence that led to an unfair trial and if he is not retried, he will be released after 42 years in prison. Onward State

- ➤ Happy Valley Agventures is planning many fall events that let visitors enjoy farm festivals, hayrides and local food trails. The events at stops such as Wasson Farm, Way Fruit Farm and the Penn State Arboretum Pumpkin Fest are scheduled from late August through October — promising family fun and local treats.
