- ➤ U.S. Marshals are asking for help to find Abdul-Jabril Cooper, a 19-year-old wanted for a September 2024 rape at Penn State’s Abington campus—he has since left the university and his last known address was on Southern Avenue in Washington, D.C. WTAJ
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Pennsylvania State Police have reminded drivers to slow down near school buses and crosswalks as more students head to school, saying drivers must stop at least 10 feet behind a bus with flashing red lights to prevent accidents. Troopers also advised students to wait until the bus stops completely before boarding and to check for traffic—steps that aim to keep everyone safe during the 2025-26 school year. WTAJ

- ➤ The Electro Optics Center at the Applied Research Laboratory won a contract worth up to $99 million from the Office of Naval Research to solve problems in making defense equipment.
