  • Penn State campus life recently celebrated awards for staff, faculty and students while hosting events and planning additional activities. The university will offer webinars, camps and commencements along with ballet classes beginning (today) and conservation and arts workshops (in the coming days).  Penn State

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Strong storms on Friday brought heavy rain to Antis Township that opened a sinkhole by a storm drain in the Sunrise Court neighborhood and quickly flooded River Road. With more rain predicted in the coming days — residents remain concerned about ongoing flash flooding risks.  WTAJ

SPORTS NEWS

  • Judge Claudia Wilken approved the House v. NCAA settlement that sets a 105-player cap on college teams and revenue sharing effective July 1 — the change will phase out walk-on players, and James Franklin said he does not like the new rules because he wants student athletes to remain on the team until they graduate.  Daily Collegian
