  • Last week, the Patton Township Board of Supervisors approved Cava’s final land development plan—this plan will pave the way for a 2,500-square-foot Mediterranean restaurant, including a drive-thru for online or phone order pickups, on a 3.16-acre site at Patton Crossing. The restaurant will be part of phase 2 of the development that also includes retail and residential components.  StateCollege.com

  • Linebacker Mark Harrington and James Zigler scored defensive touchdowns that gave the West All-Stars a 17-12 win over the East at Chapman Field on Sunday—Harrington earned MVP honors in his final game as the team held off a late comeback.  PennLive
  • The 1-0 Podcast co-hosts Avery Hill and Will Horstman reacted to 4-star wide receiver Davion Brown's commitment, saying he could boost Penn State's wide receiver room plus they previewed the upcoming official visits for the first weekend.  Daily Collegian

  • In the NCAA quarterfinals on Sunday, No. 7 Penn State men’s lacrosse overcame a six-goal deficit to defeat No. 10 Notre Dame 14-12 at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland—moving them into the NCAA semifinals where they will face Cornell at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, May 24.  Daily Collegian
  • Penn State men’s volleyball signed transfer setter Jaxon Herr from Grand Canyon, who played in 86 sets with 770 assists last season—he will join the team as a senior to bolster the setter group.  Daily Collegian
  • Graduate student Allon Clay won the 800-meter race at the 2025 Outdoor Big Ten Championship with a time of 1:47.93 in his first season at Penn State—he posted a personal best of 1:47.81 in the prelims.  Daily Collegian
