- ➤ The No. 9 seed Nittany Lions will play No. 5 seed Washington at 3 p.m. Wednesday and face No. 4 seed USC at 3 p.m. Thursday in Pool D of the Big Ten Tournament with their games airing on Big Ten Network — a win in pool play will send Penn State to the semifinals on May 24. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Four Penn State wrestlers—PJ Duke, Levi Haines, Kyle Dake, and Josh Barr—won bids at the World Team Trials and will compete at Final X on June 14 to try to earn a spot on the USA Wrestling team for the World Championships in September. Onward State
- ➤ Penn State track and field began its three-day Big Ten Championship in Eugene on Friday with many athletes competing to earn top spots for the NCAA rounds. - ➤ Penn State baseball lost to Xavier 8-6 on senior day after Xavier pulled ahead in the seventh inning and scored more runs in the final innings while the Nittany Lions ended with three runs in the ninth.
