- ➤ More than 2,500 participants will join the 17th annual Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run on Sunday at 11 a.m. to support Special Olympics PA, featuring a 5K run and walk from the All Sports Museum entrance to Beaver Stadium, plus free parking at Jordan East + Stadium West lots. StateCollege.com

- ➤ Noah Flenard published his senior column today (marking his graduation from Penn State) as he reflected on lifelong friendships and the challenges that shaped his journey. He thanked mentors, friends, and family while preparing to start a new chapter in his life. Onward State
- ➤ The Penn State chapter of Delta Chi was suspended on April 14 after an investigation found hazing violations; it will remain inactive for at least four years, losing campus privileges. Penn State
- ➤ Four Penn State Smeal College of Business students became finalists in the NASBITE International 2026 Student Case Competition in early April in St. Louis. They presented a market entry plan for Switchgrass Spirits (a Missouri-based whiskey company) and gained hands-on experience in international business strategy. Penn State
- ➤ The College of the Liberal Arts honored 13 alumni on Thursday, April 16 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center (leaders from the college presented awards for achievements in business, finance, law, sports, and more). Penn State
- ➤ Penn State University Libraries’ Research Data Stewardship Department will host the spring 2026 Open Scholarship Boot Camp from May 11 to May 12 at the Dewey Multipurpose Room in the Collaboration Commons (West Pattee Library) on campus, offering hands-on workshops and keynotes for postdoctoral researchers and faculty. - ➤ Penn State’s (PSU) offensive players led their team to a 3-2 win over Charleston in the EIVA Tournament Semifinal on Thursday at Rec Hall, boosting their momentum for Saturday’s championship. - ➤ Penn State Athletics moved the Blue-White Practice to 12:15 p.m. today at Beaver Stadium because of rain. Fans can join the Block Party on Curtin Road from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and get autographs from players after practice while following new parking and detour instructions. Penn State
- ➤ Former Penn State quarterback Drew Allar was drafted No. 76 by the Pittsburgh Steelers, making him the highest-drafted Nittany Lion since Christian Hackenberg. The Medina native, who played 35 games over four years, will join draft day three at noon today in Pittsburgh. Onward State
