- ➤ State College officials and community members met Saturday morning on April 19 to unveil Craig’s Way—the new ceremonial name for Kelly Alley—in honor of coffee shop owner Craig Avedesian who served the town for 22 years. A plaque was installed at 123 W. Beaver Ave. to mark his lasting legacy as Elixr Coffee continues his community tradition. StateCollege.com

- ➤ Sustainability State College held its second annual Earth Day celebration yesterday at the State College Municipal Building and Sidney Friedman Park with live animal exhibits, puppet-making, and stamp carving activities that brought community members together—Mayor Ezra Nanes spoke on sustainability and declared Earth Day on April 22 and Arbor Day on April 25 in the borough.
