- ➤ Penn State softball broke its single-season home run record by hitting its 54th home run in a 15-11 win over Rutgers at Beard Field—improving its overall record to 18-18; the Nittany Lions will face Saint Francis at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Penn State beat Minnesota 5-2 after a four-run ninth inning comeback, following a 10-4 win on Friday. The Nittany Lions will face Minnesota for the series finale at 2 p.m. today. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Penn State’s men’s volleyball team won three sets to one against Sacred Heart, raising its conference record to five to three + key plays by Sean Harvey and Matthew Luoma helped secure the win. The team will travel to Fairfax for a two-game series against George Mason on Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 5 p.m. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Penn State volleyball played Sacred Heart in Rec Hall South Gym over the weekend with 481 fans on Friday and 596 on Saturday (nearly filling the bleachers), which made the game loud and intimate. The team will travel next week for a series against George Mason before returning to the main gym for a series against Princeton. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Penn State won a 3-1 match over Sacred Heart yesterday as three hitters—Sean Harvey, Will Kuhns, and Matthew Luoma—led the team’s balanced offense while setter Michael Schwob recorded 46 assists.
