- ➤ Penn State researchers used a new 3D printing method to fuse low-carbon stainless steel and bronze into a complex gyroid shape—demonstrating a process that once required welding. They plan to improve the technique with in-process monitoring and different build orientations, which may lead to production-ready parts for heat exchangers and biomedical implants. Penn State
- ➤ On April 6, Penn State Kinesiology’s Master of Athletic Training program will hold a simulated mass casualty incident with the College of Medicine, Nese College of Nursing, and Penn State EMS on the HUB-Robeson Center lawn from 10 a.m. to noon, where student actors will pose as injured athletes so athletic training students can practice emergency care while nearby residents are asked not to call emergency services. - ➤ The Penn State Climate Consortium announced that Nemonte Nenquimo—an Indigenous activist and Waorani Nation leader from Ecuador's Amazon—will deliver the keynote address at the 2025 Climate Solutions Symposium.
