- ➤ At Penn State, Matt DiMarsico scored his first goal of the game — a game-winning overtime effort that sent the Nittany Lions to the Frozen Four and earned the team its second No. 1 ranking on SportsCenter Top 10 this season. - ➤ Carter Starocci of Penn State wrestling won the Dan Hodge Trophy after an undefeated season led the team to its historic fifth national title. The Erie native achieved a record of 26 wins and no losses and earned the honor after defeating the reigning champion at 184 pounds by a margin of 4 to 3—marking his first Hodge Trophy win. - ➤ Penn State wrestler Mitchell Mesenbrink won the Dan Hodge Trophy after capturing the 165 pounds national title and finishing his season undefeated. He defeated Iowa’s Mikey Caliendo 8 to 2 and ended with a record of 27 to 0 with an 88.9% bonus win rate—showing his dominance this season. Daily Collegian
- ➤ If Judge Wilken approves the settlement next Monday in Oakland, Penn State will start a new revenue-sharing plan that gives current players like quarterback Drew Allar part of a $20.5 million annual payment and promises up to $2.78 billion in back pay for former athletes—up to 400,000 of them in all.
