- ➤ Penn State arts engagement assistants have curated a pop-punk concert with rising band The Paradox for a Wednesday show at Eisenhower Auditorium on Apr. 1, uniting diverse student interests and new campus programming. - ➤ Penn State Schreyer Scholar Aryan Sabnekar built on his online coding course by competing at HackPSU and winning awards for his projects, including an AI detector; he plans to expand his software after featuring it at the Penn State Engineering Design Showcase (which provided support for further improvements). - ➤ A Penn State research team has designed flexible pressure sensors about the size of a paperclip that can form a sensitive electronic skin for robots and prosthetic limbs + they are now refining the design for potential future use in wearables and commercial robots. Penn State
- ➤ Team Medusa won the Bardusch Family IdeaMakers Challenge on March 25 during Penn State Startup Week with its app that protects personal photos of young women & student athletes from unauthorized use. The undergraduate team won $3,000 as they used facial recognition & keyword matching to help reclaim digital privacy. Penn State
- ➤ Nittany AI Advance students are using artificial intelligence to create proof-of-concept tools for the Physical Plant that improve work order communication, digitize building drawings, and provide automated support for customer service today. Partners meet biweekly to review progress & adjust project plans. Penn State

- ➤ Penn State baseball coach Mike Gambino said defensive miscues cost the team in Sunday's rubber-match against Illinois — leaving them with a low fielding percentage — and the team will seek improvement in Wednesday's game against UCF. - ➤ Two Penn State men’s hockey players signed two-year entry-level NHL deals on Monday; forward Matt DiMarsico will join the Colorado Avalanche’s AHL team for the rest of the season + goaltender Kevin Reidler will join the Ottawa Senators’ affiliate after the season ends. StateCollege.com
- ➤ Penn State’s Mitchell Mesenbrink won the Dan Hodge Trophy as the nation’s top collegiate wrestler on Monday, Mar. 30, finishing a 27-0 season with 66 of 71 first-place votes. - ➤ The Penn State women’s lacrosse team moved up to No. 20 in the Inside Lacrosse Poll after a close 14-13 loss to Maryland on Sunday. The team will play Ohio State at noon on Sunday, Apr. 5 (Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium) as they aim to build momentum. Onward State
- ➤ Penn State women's volleyball will play an outdoor game at Wrigley Field on Sept. 6 against Kentucky as part of the Big Ten and SEC Volleyball Challenge Week - marking the team's first outdoor match and a special homecoming for coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley and players Ava Falduto and Haley Burgdorf. - ➤ Penn State men’s hockey goaltender Kevin Reidler signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators on March 30 after posting an 11-7 record in 18 games while splitting net duties with Josh Fleming. Daily Collegian
