- ➤ Kevin Harvatine, professor of nutritional physiology at Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences, has been appointed to the C. Lee Rumberger and Family Chair for a five-year term — he plans to use the endowment for high-risk research that aims to boost dairy farm profitability. Penn State
- ➤ Penn State College of Arts and Architecture named Günther Vogt the 2025-26 Bracken Fellow and he will deliver his lecture 'Terra Forma: Forming Landscape' at 4 p.m. March 30 in the Stuckeman Family Building Jury Space + an exhibit accompanies his talk through April 17. Penn State
- ➤ Penn State faculty will vote on unionizing under SEIU Local 668 by mail-in ballot, with ballots mailed April 1 and due May 6. The Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board will count ballots starting at 10 a.m. on May 13 in Harrisburg. Penn State
- ➤ Penn State launched its redesigned Military Appreciation website yesterday to offer improved access to military resources & events for veterans, service members and families. The site will feature key programs in advance of National Medal of Honor Day tomorrow. Penn State

- ➤ Penn State men’s lacrosse fell to No.10 in the latest poll after a 10 to 6 win over the Terrapins, with goalie Hawkins making 14 saves (a personal best). The team will travel to Columbus to face No.8 Ohio State Sunday, Mar. 28 at 4:00 p.m. on Big Ten Plus. Onward State
- ➤ On March 21, the Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team clinched its fifth straight NCAA title at the 2026 championships in Cleveland by winning four individual titles and setting a new record with 181.5 points. Coach Sanderson is now second in NCAA history with 13 championships. Penn State
- ➤ Penn State men’s volleyball will play Ohio State tomorrow at 6 p.m. in Pittsburgh. The team hopes to bounce back after three losses in this key rivalry match. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Following their NCAA win in Cleveland, four undefeated Penn State wrestlers have been named finalists for the Dan Hodge Trophy — the winner will be announced at 1 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 31. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Penn State field hockey announced the hiring of Allison Bitting as Director of Field Hockey Operations on March 23. Bitting, who earned multiple accolades at Louisville and recently served as a steward with the Nittany Lion Club, holds a sport administration degree and will lead operations moving forward. - ➤ Penn State women's lacrosse dropped one spot to No. 22 after a home loss to Michigan + turnovers resulted in a five-goal deficit. They will face Maryland on Sunday, March 29 in Big Ten play. Onward State
- ➤ Tanisha Wright was announced as the new head coach of Penn State women’s basketball on March 19 + she later addressed the media at Beaver Stadium to outline her plan for rebuilding the program with a personal connection to her alma mater. Daily Collegian
