  • A five-figure gift from anonymous donors has established the Endowment for the Office of Access and Equity at the College of Agricultural Sciences in University Park—its funds will support programs for first generation, low income and underrepresented students and may spur additional private support.  Penn State
  • Longtime Communication Arts and Sciences professor Ellen Taricani died on Feb. 3 at age 70 after celebrating 35 years of service at Penn State last fall—she was known for her friendly guidance, digital contributions, and deep ties to the community.   • For every year an older adult faces food insecurity, they are more likely to experience weight changes linked to early death—researchers at Penn State found after reviewing 10 years of data from nearly 4,000 seniors.
