- ➤ State College hosts many events this week — Monday features yoga and a mindfulness workshop while Tuesday brings a St. Patrick’s Fair and study session. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Penn State police are stepping up enforcement of the ban on e-scooters on campus after spring break. Offenders will face a referral to the BEEP program or a fine of $225+ to help keep the campus safe. PennLive

- ➤ Taxpayers in Pennsylvania now have free options to file taxes. The IRS Free File supports complex returns and PA Fast File (for PA-40) offers a streamlined option for simple returns, with both programs available from trusted partners ahead of the April 15 deadline. PennLive

- ➤ Penn State softball lost 6-5 to No. 21 Oregon in the final game of a three-game series in Eugene. The loss leaves the team winless in its Big Ten series, and it will host Wisconsin for its next conference matchup Friday at 5 p.m. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Former Penn State defensive end Arnold Ebiketie signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles worth $7.3 million (including $4.3 million guaranteed) after recording 18 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks in 2021. Onward State
- ➤ No. 15 Penn State men's volleyball was swept by No. 5 USC on Saturday night. The Nittany Lions recorded 26 kills+20 attack errors amid offensive challenges and will face Ohio State in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. Onward State
- ➤ Susquehanna Township’s Leo Pitassi earned state medals in the 50 & 100 freestyle events at Bucknell’s Kinney Natatorium on Saturday, Mar. 14, finishing the 100 freestyle in 47.45 seconds. The medals mark his second state placement in his junior year. PennLive
