- ➤ Peppa Pig My First Concert will be at Penn State's Eisenhower Auditorium on March 26 at 6 p.m. and offers families interactive classical music featuring live orchestral renditions of familiar tunes and hands-on music-making (a free pre-show runs from 4:30 to 6 p.m.). StateCollege.com

- ➤ Faculty and doctoral students will join Kevin Linderman and Aydin Alptekinoglu for the Spisak Panel and Dinner (5 to 7 p.m., March 26) at the Nittany Lion Inn Boardroom, while a lecture and lunch with Professor Hau Lee (10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., March 27) will follow. Penn State
- ➤ The Penn State Military Appreciation Committee and Penn State Alumni Association have opened applications for the 2026 banner display to honor veterans and service members. - ➤ Penn State’s Department of Biomedical Engineering is launching new undergraduate tracks in biopharmaceuticals, biomechanics, medical imaging and device design that let students align with healthcare market needs and choose their discipline after 29 credits to prepare for workforce entry. - ➤ Shomir Wilson, an IST professor at Penn State, received the Best Paper Award at the 57th ACM Technical Symposium on Computer Science Education held in St. Louis from Feb. 18-21. His paper presents a mentorship framework that outlines faculty roles in guiding student researchers. Penn State

- ➤ Students from Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences are working to cut stormwater runoff in Juniata Terrace, a historic Mifflin County community, with a design that could lower runoff by 60% using natural vegetation and diversion swales. - ➤ Penn State President Neeli Bendapudi faced questions in Harrisburg on plans to close seven Commonwealth campuses at the state House hearing. - ➤ Tussey Mountain’s owners plan to expand the lodge and renovate spaces at their Boalsburg resort after submitting a Development of Regional Impact application. - ➤ No. 3 Penn State women’s hockey will host its first home NCAA regional game at Pegula Ice Arena after winning its fourth AHA championship and setting a 32-win record. UConn, which advanced with a 4-1 win over Princeton, will face the Nittany Lions next Saturday. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Penn State wrestling earned top seeds at the NCAA Championships next week with seven starters ranked No. 1 after winning Big Ten titles. The team will compete at Rocket Arena (Cleveland) from March 19 through March 21. StateCollege.com
