- ➤ College of Arts and Architecture’s School of Visual Arts will host Ghanaian-born artist Eugene Ofori Agyei for an Anderson Lecture Series talk on Tuesday, March 17 at 11:30 a.m. in Foster Auditorium at the Paterno Library (free to attend). Penn State

- ➤ Penn State Smeal College of Business announced that entrance-to-major GPA requirements for students starting summer/fall 2026 have been approved under the Smeal Direct initiative, ensuring clear placement for direct admits & offering a competitive second-year entry process for others. - ➤ Emma Uhlman, a junior majoring in animal science at Penn State, supports prospective students through Ag Advocates and manages recruitment events like the livestock show to build a welcoming campus community (she is a fourth-generation Penn Stater). Penn State
- ➤ Penn State scientists discovered that lightning-like discharges can be triggered in everyday materials on a lab bench using high-powered electron sources (the research may lead to safer, smaller X-ray sources for medical and security settings).
