- ➤ Penn State's Survivor club, started by junior Charlie Papiernik, hosts games that mimic the hit reality show and help students build friendships. The club's Season 7 begins March 28 with an Amazing Race event on April 11. Onward State
- ➤ Penn’s Woods Music Festival ended after 40 years as Penn State’s School of Music shifts focus to programs that boost student learning + artistic development. - ➤ At 10:40 a.m. today, Team USA and Team Sweden will face off in the Olympic women’s ice hockey semifinal at Milano-Cortina. Three Penn State players are set to represent the school, including current player Tessa Janecke, sophomore Nicole Hall and alumna Jessica Adolfsson as both teams remain undefeated at 5-0. - ➤ Penn State’s women’s lacrosse team beat Bucknell 21-9 at Holuba Hall (in Happy Valley) to continue their undefeated season under coach Kayla Treanor in her first season, with freshman players making key plays to secure the win. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Penn State baseball lost 24 to 5 to Kansas State during Sunday's MLB Desert Invitational final after poor defense allowed many runs — the team will travel to Richmond on Friday, Feb. 20 for a four-game series. Onward State
- ➤ The Nittany Lions defeated Ohio State 36-5 on Feb. 13 at the Bryce Jordan Center to clinch their sixth straight Big Ten title and break the indoor crowd record of 16,006; they improved to a 14-0 season and will face Princeton at Rec Hall on Feb. 20. Penn State
- ➤ The Lady Lions held off Northwestern 81-71 in an emotional Pink Zone win at Rec Hall on Sunday, nearly losing a 20-point lead until Kiyomi McMillar (32 points) powered the team. They will travel to Piscataway to face Rutgers Saturday at 4 p.m. Onward State
- ➤ Penn State women’s lacrosse beat Bucknell 21-9 today at home, using a strong first-half performance with 14 goals and standout plays by Maddie Greco and Rocquette Allen. They will face the Pitt Panthers on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Panzer Stadium. Onward State
- ➤ Penn State softball routed Pitt 11-2 as part of a four game series finish at the Houston Invitational, with strong offense and tight pitching limiting Pitt to five hits. The team will travel to Orlando for the SpaceU Classic from Friday, Feb. 20 to Sunday, Feb. 22. Onward State
