- ➤ Penn State undergraduates at the University Park campus can join one of 14 weekly accountability groups offered by the Chaiken Center to boost study focus and set goals. The 90-minute sessions run weekly until classes end — sign-ups are open until April 1. Penn State
- ➤ Four doctoral students from Penn State’s Geography department will deliver research talks during the Graduate Student Coffee Hour at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20—this event takes place in 112 Walker Building at University Park and will also be accessible via Zoom. Penn State
- ➤ Penn State’s Block and Bridle Club earned three awards at the 105th national convention in Nashville where over 30 students toured local operations & networked with industry professionals; next year the club will host the event locally. Penn State
- ➤ The Consortium on Moral Decision-Making at Penn State is asking for proposals for Ember Grants to support interdisciplinary research on human morality and ethical decision-making. Faculty-led teams should submit proposals by Feb. 27 (5 p.m. ET). Penn State
- ➤ The Center for Human Evolution and Diversity is hosting two free Darwin Day events; professor Augustín Fuentes will deliver his lecture at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 at the HUB-Robeson Center (Freeman Auditorium) and join a panel discussion at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 at 112 Chambers Building. Penn State

- ➤ Penn State’s Remote Area Medical clinic will offer free medical, dental, and vision services on March 28 and 29 in Bellefonte at Bald Eagle Area Middle and High School (doors open at 6 a.m. on a first-come basis). Wait times may be long, so plan ahead. StateCollege.com

- ➤ Penn State's men's basketball team plays Oregon today in Eugene as part of their Big Ten West Coast road trip. The game comes with high stakes for both teams as Oregon enters with key players sidelined. Daily Collegian
- ➤ The Penn State women's basketball team will face Northwestern on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Pink Zone game (which honors those affected by breast cancer) as both eight-win teams aim to improve their standings before the Big Ten tournament. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Penn State defenseman Jackson Smith broke the single-season record for goals by a blueliner Friday, Feb. 13 by scoring his ninth goal against No. 2 Michigan. The previous record (held in a four-way tie for 10 years) may be extended as he still has seven regular-season games left. Daily Collegian
- ➤ No. 1 Penn State wrestling clinched the Big Ten regular season title with a 36-5 win over Ohio State at a dual meet, snapping Ohio State's undefeated record as missing wrestlers affected the lineup. The Nittany Lions dominated key weight classes in front of a record crowd. Daily Collegian
- ➤ Penn State track star Allon Clay broke the 1,000-meter school record at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational as he ran (2:17.29) to beat his previous time of 2:18.09 and claim second spot in NCAA history. Daily Collegian
