  • Penn State Transportation Services released parking details for Winter Sports Weekend events from Friday, Jan. 30 to Sunday, Feb. 1, with prepaid and day-of rates offered at commuter lots, Eisenhower Deck, and other designated spots.   • Graduate students from all Penn State campuses can register for the 2026 Graduate Exhibition showcasing research, creative art and design projects on March 27 at University Park. Registration for free poster printing ends March 6.  Penn State
  • Ann Taylor has been elected as network senate chair for UPCEA and will begin her two-year term on April 17. The appointment honors her decades of work in distance learning at Penn State.  Penn State
  • A new report from Penn State’s Center for Collegiate Mental Health shows that over one-quarter of students getting counseling face financial insecurity—linked to long work hours and stress—and it urges early screening plus cross-campus support to meet basic needs.  Penn State

  • Ohio State edged Nebraska 17-16 (Columbus) in a competitive wrestling dual on the weekend with upsets that showed strong performances among Penn State’s upcoming opponents. The tight match sets the stage for Penn State’s dual on Feb. 13.  Daily Collegian

  • Penn State wrestler Braeden Davis fell to No. 12 at 141 pounds in Tuesday’s InterMat rankings despite winning matches against Indiana and Maryland. Freshman Luke Simcox of North Carolina jumped from No. 17 to No. 10 while other lions held steady in the rankings.  Daily Collegian
  • Penn State women's basketball coach Carolyn Kieger said the Lady Lions, on their third worst losing streak, will play Minnesota today and adjust their lineup to secure wins against favorable opponents before the Big Ten tournament.  Daily Collegian
