  • DaBaby headlined a Welcome Back Concert at Bryce Jordan Center on Jan. 23, performing popular hits including “BOP” and “ROCKSTAR” and debuting his new single 'POP DAT THING' ahead of his album release on Jan. 30 (he joked for fans to lift their lights during the wait).  Onward State

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Penn State professors are exploring how to integrate AI into coursework while addressing academic integrity concerns. They plan to provide clearer guidelines and develop resources to help students learn safe, ethical AI use (a move designed to prepare them for work in a tech-driven future).  Daily Collegian

LIFESTYLE NEWS

  • Today, with school canceled and a snowstorm underway, locals can enjoy sledding at spots like HUB Lawn, Shortlidge Rd, and Old Main near campus and downtown; some students also try creative setups at the parking lot of D.P. Dough + a car-towing option.  Onward State

SPORTS NEWS

  • Penn State women’s volleyball is auctioning match-day jerseys from last season starting at $85 to benefit THON. Bids close on Feb. 7, and junior Jocelyn Nathan will dance + honor her friend who beat Stage 4 cancer.  Onward State
  • Penn State’s men’s basketball team remains winless in Big Ten play as coach Mike Rhoades, known for rebuilding programs at previous schools, works to turn things around in Happy Valley. He says his tough past experiences have prepared him to build a competitive team over time.  Onward State
  • Today, Penn State men's basketball faces Ohio State in a primetime FS1 matchup at 7:00 p.m. in Columbus after a tough stretch with heavy snow & six straight losses, as the team hopes to benefit from increased ball control and key returning players.  Daily Collegian
  • After the Patriots' 10-7 win over the Broncos, two Penn State alumni head to the Bay Area on February 8 to compete in Super Bowl LX. They continue a legacy of almost constant Nittany Lion presence in the big game since 1967.  Onward State
